PROOF / VERIFY

Verify a report

Enter a report or certificate number and read its status. The dataset starts empty and never shows a record that does not exist.

What this checks, and what it cannot

Every report and certificate Nexus issues carries a number. That number is the link between the document in your hand and the record the laboratory keeps: which sample it came from, which method ran, which reference standards were behind it, and who signed it off.

The online lookup above reads that register directly. It is being built, and it holds no records yet — which is why it returns nothing rather than returning something reassuring. A verification tool that invents a result is worse than no verification tool, so this one stays empty until the register is connected to it.

Until then, verification is done by a person. Send the number on the document, or the document itself, to the laboratory manager and you will get a written answer confirming whether we issued it and what it says. That is the same answer the tool will give, from the same records.
