LAB / ABOUT

About the lab

The measurement house of the QSI group. Calibration and testing run as technical services with controlled records, separate from certification by design.

THE RECORD

The laboratory, on the record

CH. 01 / 05

Part of the QSI group

Nexus Labs is the measurement house of the QSI group. The group assesses management systems; the laboratory calibrates instruments and tests samples. The two functions are separated by design: no laboratory result feeds a certification decision, and no certification relationship changes a reported value.

The separation is structural, not cosmetic. Laboratory records are not shared with the certification side, certification records are not shared with the laboratory, and nothing either business sells is a shortcut through the other.

Two laboratories in Riyadh

The laboratory operates from two sites in Riyadh: one for calibration, one for testing. Calibration and testing are different trades and are run as such — separate benches, separate technical management, one standard of record-keeping.

Each site holds its own accreditation certificate, and both report in the same form: a document with the method or reference stated on every line, and a number that can be checked against the laboratory’s register.

The disciplines

Calibration is accredited across mass, mechanical, temperature and chemical measurement. Dimensional and electrical calibration are offered as non-accredited services and are stated as such wherever they appear.

Testing is accredited for food and agricultural microbiology. What each lane covers, and the reference method behind each line, is published in the catalogue rather than claimed in prose.

CH. 04 / 05

Accreditation

Both laboratories are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the Saudi Accreditation Center. Certificate N-C-00592, covering calibration, was issued on 30 July 2026 and is valid to 29 July 2029. Certificate N-T-00607, covering testing, is valid to 12 October 2027.

The certificates and the scope annex publish on this site as documents, line by line. What is not on the scope is not accredited work, and the site says so.

What comes next

A new laboratory facility is in preparation in the Second Industrial City. The laboratory publishes what is confirmed and nothing ahead of it; details will appear here once they are signed.

TIMELINE

The register, in order

No founding legend and no rounded years. The dates below are the ones the source documents carry; the stages before them are stated without dates rather than decorated with invented ones.

  1. ESTABLISHED

    Two laboratories set up

A calibration laboratory and a testing laboratory in Riyadh, each with its own benches and its own controlled records.

  2. METHODS

    Methods put in writing

Procedures, reference standards and controls documented before accreditation was sought — the records first, the badge after.

  3. ACCREDITED

    Accreditation granted

The Saudi Accreditation Center assessed both laboratories to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and issued a certificate for each.

    N-T-00607TESTING · VALID TO 12-10-2027
  4. OPERATING

    In service

Both sites operating and reporting, with the method or reference stated on every line and a number that can be verified.

  5. AHEAD

    A new facility

A new laboratory facility is in preparation in the Second Industrial City. Details publish when they are confirmed.

Requests are read at the bench.

Send the sample question or the instrument list. It is read by a bench professional, not routed through a ticket queue. Confirmed phone, mailbox and address publish here at launch.
